Since then he has tried all aspects of the medium and at his college a tutor quoted his work as somewhat "quirky". He is currently finishing his 3rd year at UCA Farnham.

It was noted that Oliver was artistically inclined from an early age. When he was 13 years old, his school entered him into a National Lego competition. His 5 minute animation, won him a first for his age group.
